Hi !
there is a little problem with update notification when using it with customers private site : the api key.
Why not activating it like videos with just the domain inscription here ?
I dont like the idea to insert clearly the api key on a customer site ! It could be given to anyone.

I see the issue, yes. It's unlikely to be an issue I think as it would require the client to be savvy enough to know what it's for, to move to their own WordPress installation, taking the plugins with them and pasting the key - which is highly unlikely.
I'll pass it along anyway but know that it's probably not going to be top of the list.

+1 for this request. Maybe like other premium plugin, they hide the API key after submitted and encrypt it into database

Ohhhh no no no no no !
dont under estimate the users....
The key is very easy to find since notifications are explicits and there is a link directly going on setup options.
I think on the contrary that this is absolutly a priority in fact, but until now I was not concerned because did not have any "private sites".....

Sorry I agree with @Aphrodite it would be unwise to think the end users don't know what they are looking at so its a +1 from me on this one.
Thanks!
