Under the three boxes the font is bold. I need to make it look like normal text as it is in the top intro box. If you click on a blog post and go down to the three boxes the font is normal.
Please help

I had a look at your site (nicely done!) and inspected the code in Firefox, but couldn't get to any conclusion why the font is showing in bold. So I decided to test it in my own test lab, but I didn't have any problem with the font (please see my screenshot). The only thing that I can think of is that we check your settings on the WP Admin Dashboard » Appearance » Custom Homepage. And also the settings of your Theme Options. If it's possible to provide me with a screenshot I can check the settings against mine and let you know my findings.

Have you ever made any changes to your core files? Especially anything which affects the home page? To me, it almost looks like a <b> tag was never closed out. I also noticed that both the Recent Posts widget text and the Footer text on the home page are in bold, but elsewhere on the site they are normal.

No. I haven't changed anything that would do this because then it would produce the same result on the other sites which are part of the network and using the same theme, and the others are 'normal'
All of these guys are 'normal' - its just this one blog. As you can see from the images there are no open tags in the homepage text. I have looked several times... unless I have looked so many times I keep missing it!
Darn, I was hoping that was issue because that was my best guess. The symptoms point to an open tag - especially given the way the bold runs right through all the way to the end of the footer. Hopefully, @GinaB will have some more insight for you. I hope you find the solution.

@Gina - FYI - I decided to include this theme as my home page now as so many people love using it and it didn't happen there either so I know it must be something about this particular blog.
I'm seeing that " being held on 29th September 2012 in North London" is bold, but there may be a missing closing tag for the bolding - thus making everything below it appear bold.
It's sort of a guess, but that's my hunch from this end. Let us know :)
