After upgrading my theme, forums on newer groups will not save new topics/posts. Has anyone else had this problem. I have WordPress, Buddypress and my theme up to date.

hi
the default theme are inside the plugin/buddypress/themes.
btw did the forums work in default theme?
when creating a new group, you may need to tick the 'enable group forum on this group'
try resave this setting in 1 of the group and post the forum topic again.
when I click gallery I get a 404 page
is it a gallery plugin? or a new page you created?
I going to test the forums with the default bp theme and I'll let you know how it comes out. The gallery is a bp plugin. It's called bp-gallery --> http://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-gallery/
I tried activating the default theme and still seem to have the same problem of forums on newer groups will not save new topics/posts. Anything else I could try?
hi
if the bp-default theme also have this issue then it must be the bp settings issue.
did you tried this step first
when creating a new group, you may need to tick the 'enable group forum on this group'
try resave this setting in 1 of the group and post the forum topic again.
if you have any plugin (except buddypress)..try deativated them and see if one of the plugin js causing this issue.
We have not heard back from you as to the status of this issue.
If you are still having an issue with this please let us know so that we may try to get you fixed up as soon as possible by choosing to mark this ticket as unresolved.

Thanks for your responses to this... I have been super busy and unable to post a reply to let you know that we figured out what the problem was. We had to change servers a few months back and some of the settings didn't get updated, so the forums were pulling from our old database while the rest of the site was pulling from the new one. I just copied the tables that were being used from the old database to the new one and updated the settings and everything works.

Hi bravegirlsclub,
We've not received any reports on that as far as I can see. Could you try switching to the BuddyPress default theme to see how it works with that?
Thanks,
David
