Hi barrels,
Normally this plugin including French language but language files seems missed.
You can download native French wordpress and then upload language file to your server. (under the wp-content directory). After then install this plugin.

Ouch, so sorry I write wrong.
1)Create a language folder under the wp-content directory and then upload french language packs in there. You can get all language packs here!
2) When you install "Select Language At Signup" plugin, you'll show French as an option.
