Does the Friends plugin provide a means for Friends to view each other sites similar to facebook. I have a multisite where we want all visitors to all sites to register with main site and be part of the network (I had to disable Membership), once registered in the main site they can find friends and request friends that allow for viewing and commenting on each other's sites. Does the Friends plugin provide for this? and if so, what do the general privacy settings need to be set at for all sites to participate? I am really looking for something close to the Facebook privacy model.

Hiya!
It sounds like what you're after is much more fully featured than what Friends provides.
You might want to look at using something like BuddyPress instead, although the privacy options for that are very limited I'm afraid.
