Is it possible for new members to be able to post their own fundraising projects on my website? I'm not sure if both the Fundraising Plugin and Membership Plugin must be used together or if there is another way to make it work. The hope is that it would function somewhat similar to RocketHub and KickStarter. On both of those sites, you can post your own fundraising project, but that's all you have access to.
Thanks!

Hello design4dotcom,
Welcome to the Forum!
The Fundraisers plugin and the Membership plugin doesn't have an integration at the moment, but there is a way to make it work.
- Get the Admin Menu Editor plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-menu-editor/
- When you create the access level in the membership plugin, set an associated role for each level (in the Advanced tab for each level) (See the screenshot attached. )
- Now make sure the Fundraiser menu is accessible only to the members or that role. You can do this using the Admin Menu Editor plugin. (or instead, if you are looking at a membership site only for fundraisers like you mentioned, you might want to hide all elements other than the fundraiser menu).
Now when a user sign-up using the membership plugin, he will be set to that particular role and he will be able to access the fundraiser part from the backend, and fundraiser only.
(Note, you can use a plugin like the members plugin to create new roles for your site, check it out: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/)
Let me know if you need more clarifications. I know this can be a bit confusing since it's a workaround. Good luck!

Thank for a quick, awesome response Arun. I have everything set up. I have one final question. For these members that start their own fundraising project, is there a way for them to receive their proceeds? It seems like the main, site administrator account would receive all of the funding. Does another plugin need to be installed or setting turned on in order for members to receive their funds?
Thanks!

Hey design4dotcom,
This isn't currently available for fundraiser posts, but is possible using the simple donation widgets and shortcodes. This is considered a must have for some of the future feature upgrades we have planned but isn't included in this version of the plugin.

Hey design4dotcom,
Like Cole pointed out, this isn't available at the moment. Maybe go for a Multisite where each user can have his own mini portal, that works for you? You could use Pro-Sites for user registration and offer Fundraiser as a Premium feature.
Moving this to the feature request forum. Lets see if other users have ideas :)

+1 for members or users being able to register/login to post their own projects from front-end verses utilizing multisites. They (members or users) need to be able to provided their own Paypal or other payment processing provider email address to disburse payments to them. Don't forget the site admin's commission or fees too like Marketpress.

+1 too! I really need this feature.
A frontend form for creating a new project, with shortcode or something, would be great, and also the comission posibility, as BlueGoat an gogger said.
This could move the plug to a next level.
Hope to see it soon!
Regards!

+1 on what bluegoat and gogger said. Also should work in subdomains or directories. My requirements are to use directories. The guys that will be using my site are not computer savvy at all so automating the PayPal setup is also important.
This is a fantastic plugin. I'm new to WP meaning it is my 1st day off the boat.

+1 on what bluegoat and gogger said. Would want a frontend part of it and they receive a percentage or a donation amount.
