On the return page after paypal donation getting the message "Oh No, we can't find your Pledge" I waited and tried refreshing, same message.
I'm on a test server using paypal sandbox, but I get the same message from production. On the test server I have turned off all plugins and changed the theme to 2010 and deactivated buddypress.
On test server:
Running WordPress: 3.3.2
Fundraising: 2.1
Theme: Twenty Ten
Thanks in advance for your help

Hiya @hutchm84,
Thanks for providing all the details up front :)
Do you have the PayPal IPN Notifications turned on and pointed to to this link:
http://YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wdf-ipn-return-paypalPlease confirm. You're seeing the default error message from the plugin if it can't get any information back from the gateway.
Let us know. Thanks!

Hey,
Yes I do, doubled checked:
Notification URL http://clapfor.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wdf-ipn-return-paypal
Message delivery Enabled
Of course the above is from the live site in PayPal live mode. I'm testing on my test server and using the PayPal Sandbox but I get the same result from both.
Got tired of PayPal taking my pennies :-) so switched to test. The transactions are going through and I can see the IPN send history (PayPal) and compared that to the paypal.php and it looked ok to me only thing that I noticed that I figured was being handled in the functions was the custom=1999||6bd6293d04d0 where the fundraiser id is 1999. Not sure what the rest of that is.
I have not spotted anything else but you are right it is like the notification is not being sent back. As you probably already know the amounts are not being updated it is not picking up any data. But I am getting the PayPal emails for a completed donation.
Hope this helps, Marty

Hey again,
Forgot to mention that PayPal is showing a 200 response code in the send history for the transaction so looks like they think it connected with the server.

Hi,
It's 1:15AM and my brain is starting to shutdown, so I'm going to get some sleep I'll check back in the morning when I wake up.
Thanks for your help

Hi, don't mean to sound impatient, just don't want you to think the issue got resolved or that I went to bed and didn't wakeup :-).
Any additional thoughts on what I should try next?
Thanks

Hiya,
If you're getting a 200 response it would seem that they are connected and resolving. Let me ask the developer to chime in with any thoughts he has on this one.
Thanks!

Hey,
Thanks for the update. Sounds like a plan. I'm hoping it's a brain fart on my part but so far I have not been able to spot it.
Thank You!!

Greetings hutchm84,
Just touching base with you to let you know that we have not forgotten about you nor your issue and hopefully the lead developer will have the opportunity to make it in here soon.
Cheers, Joe

Hey aecnu,
Sorry I should have come back and updated, but got wrapped up and forgot.
I've moved on, ended up writing some custom functions that do exactly what I need. It's strange how writing your own routines always work the way you want them to :-).
Thanks for checking,
Marty

Greetings Marty,
Thank you for letting us know and for being a WPMU Dev Member!
Custom always seem to work best since it is indeed custom.
Cheers, Joe
