It could be done, but you'd have to modify the code, likely using the function mp_list_global_products() from marketpress-ms.php.
I believe the developers were looking at adding something along that line to the plugin, but they've been quite busy with a slew of updates lately. I'm not sure if or when that might occur at this point.
I just asked for this same functionality! Could you awesome developers make it happen? :) Also, I'm not opposed to paying to have this work customized for my site. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this! It's being looked at by the developers per your requests with the first point of address being an included grid display via shortcode.
@msmith11, sure, I was actually referring to modifying the shortcode's code using the code for the function mp_list_global_products() from marketpress-ms.php. If you take a look at how that function generates its output you could use a similar method in altering the grid shortcode's output for a global product display.
It's a technical matter that would require a developer, though as the developers over here are looking into the matter, you may not have to delve into that. :)
You can use a global cart to allow one checkout for all. Because of how the system works each shop uses their own Paypal address. Paypal themselves put a limit on global carts to 10.
For specific Store shortcodes you can find those in the stores settings page:
Admin --> Products --> Store Settings --> Shortcodes
At the bottom of the page is a list of shortcodes you can use for global carts. There are shortcodes for global products, tags and categories.
To ensure we never miss your questions, could I please ask you open a new thread, this one is some months old now and I would hate to miss something when you ask for help.
i got it now .. but still feel something it lacking..
beside, i wonder how is this setting,
when I set product listing only
1. my specific store disappear the option for shortcode only left 2 tab for setting
2. when it is product listing only, it still how "ADD TO CART" button
This option turns MarketPress into more of a product listing plugin, disabling shopping carts, checkout, and order management. This is useful if you simply want to list items you can buy in a store somewhere else, optionally linking the "Buy Now" buttons to an external site. Some examples are a car dealership, or linking to songs/albums in itunes, or linking to products on another site with your own affiliate links.
You need to add external links to your products when in product listing mode. In the next version I'll have the listing links go to the main page if you forget add a link to avoid confusion.

Hi anyahmonroe,
I believe you're referring to the shorcode posted in the following?

Hey DavidM,
Originally you said to try modifying the mp_list_global_products() in marketpress-ms.php. Could you write a little more on that?
Thanks!

Hey David,
Is it possible that you could update us with the status of the global grid? :)
Thanks!

Hey PurpleTye.
Unfortunately there are no updates we can give at the moment. This is still a feature request to gauge the popularity with members here. :-)
Thanks.

Hey Ian.

For specific Store shortcodes you can find those in the stores settings page:
Admin --> Products --> Store Settings --> Shortcodes
wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=marketpress&tab=shortcodes
And for Network shortcodes like a global list:
Admin --> Network Admin --> Settings --> MarketPlace
wp-admin/network/settings.php?page=marketpress-ms
At the bottom of the page is a list of shortcodes you can use for global carts. There are shortcodes for global products, tags and categories.

This will make it a product catalogue only. No sales.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean here? Could you please elaborate further?
