Hi! I was wondering how to fix the following issue in the directory plugin:
Currently, if a customer is going through the registration process and goes to pay pal, but abandons the process at paypal deciding to come back to the site and finish it later, there is no way to allow him/her to continue the check out process. Is there a way to fix that? Thanks!

We are currently in a coding frenzy to get Directory updated :)

There's two schools of thought on this, One is if they abandon, remove their user record because if they don't follow through and forget their passwords etc the leave orphaned records lying around.
The other is leave the record and allow them to restart the process. Again the complication is that they usually forget their password or never respond to the sigup mail and so can't get in without help.
I'm leaning towards waiting X period for them to confirm from the email and if they don't then delete it. Keeps the garbage down and doesn't block restart attempts because of forgotten data.
