hi i need some help
site5 close my acount they saying
Hello,
After some recent problems with the server bissel.webserversystems.com we found that your site blogawake.com is causing those problems due to your site's resource usage. Your site is using too many system resources (CPU and Memory) for shared hosting. With shared hosting you are sharing the hardware resources with other people and unfortunately your site is using more than it's fair share. Unfortunately this means that your site is going to need dedicated hardware resources.
Here is a summary of your CPU and memory usage on your account over the past 24 hours:
CPU: 23.98%
MEM: 0.69%
We believe the processes shown below are responsible for this level of resource usage, please keep in mind if you run a dynamic site off WordPress or another script it might just show index.php which is the primary file that runs the entire site:
-----------------------
Top Process %CPU 93.0 /usr/bin/php /home/blogawak/public_html/wp-admin/post.php
-----------------------
Shared web hosting is designed for small to mid level sites and once you grow bigger you need more hardware resources (CPU and Memory). For example our website Site5.com is hosted on a very powerful dedicated server because it receives so many daily visitors to a site built with PHP and MySQL.
Due to the severity of this issue, we were unable to send a warning and instead were forced to disable web access to your account. I know this may seem abrupt, but we need to protect the other users on the server and it is not fair to have one user causing downtime and stability problems for everyone else. If your site was not loading quickly as a result of another user on the server I'm sure you would want us to disable their site.
We would also like to apologize, we are working very hard on getting CPU graphs directly to customers in their control panel so our customers can see when their site is starting to use too many hardware resources for shared hosting. This is something that happens very rarely and only 1% of our customers ever have a site that is using enough resources to cause this level of problem. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Raj Nair

Sorry to hear about your issue with them. Sadly over selling is a common practice within the hosting industry. Your experience is one I often tell clients about when they host with us. The promise of unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth always sounds so good. But unlimited is fictional, everything has limits.
This is not comment on the services offered by Site5 but a generalised comment about the hosting industry. With that in mind though, the provider has a responsibility to keep the thousands of websites on line, using the resources you did could quickly bring that server to a halt, especially if there were a few clients using many resources. Over selling relies on the majority of their customers using only a small amount of resource and most will use little.
What happens is when you start to use to many resources as you have then you get your account terminated. Some hosts will let you upgrade to another plan, some will give you a few days to find and fix the issue.
There are always "Fair Use" policies with hosts. You could never use unlimited space, try uploading 30TB of files. It won't happen.
One of the best things about WordPress is you don't need to hack the core to add custom stuff. The disadvantage to WordPress is all these hooks and filters that allow WP to be so customisable can quickly cause an inefficient website, bloated. To many DB queries from plugins and themes. Including to many files, all these use more and more server resources.
This is the reason I advocate not using plugins for doing simple things like replacing login images which could be done by editing the core. It means more work on every update, but better efficiency.
Here is a post I made some months back which might help guide you on your install:
Top Process %CPU 93.0 /usr/bin/php /home/blogawak/public_html/wp-admin/post.php
Are you in multisite mode?
I would think that file is being hit by spammers/bots. I had this a few years ago.
Anyway, your next step is a VPS or a dedicated server. the first is cheaper but you will want to get a managed one unless you have experience in managing linux or windows servers.
Once again, sorry to hear about the issues you are having.
Timothy hi i have a rseller acount ther no unlimited 24$ per month discspace 50 gb bandwich 500 gb
timothy and Aphrodite thit y guys look to my visitors how low that is

I can't comment for their set up, their servers, how they work, or their installation of Awstats. I've never used them for anything. We run our own servers and no shared hosting or reseller hosting.
How many plugins and themes have you installed and removed over the years?
If the data is in the database it could still cause some issues.
so wher can i see that they spam / the webpage in awstats
Have you tried taking the issue up with Site5?
Perhaps they could offer you better advice. Sadly I don't have access to your hosting, the server logs, the DB.
As I mentioned in my previous post "a generalised comment about the hosting industry"
and when my webiste whas shutdown and i look to the server status it whas
Server Load 40.62 (16 cpus)
Memory Used 50.9 %
I would suspect those stats are referring to the whole server and not just your package.
I don't use them, so I'm not familiar with how they work.
Please let us know what they say about your current issue.

not YOUR site. Wordpress does and need, if many plugins used a professionnal hosting service.
Check out your plugins and what kind of plan do you have ?
