I'm not sure if you had more to the question than was mentioned in the topic title, but BuddyPress profile fields, as long as they're not in a group of their own, should show in the registration page.
Is that what you're referring to?

@jeffpurnell can you share the code you are using for custom registration page. I can't seem to find any tutorial to get it together.
