How do you remove the RSS icon from Wordpress? Currently using 3.3.1

Also I would like to have the feed to contain thumbnails from the source.. How do I do this?

This is really dependent on which theme you are using and it may be necessary to physically remove it from the theme code itself.

I may have a solution for you - have you tried Get Post List With Thumbnails plugin?

That could definitely do the job for you - I would love to hear how it goes if you try it out?
