Within a wiki, users at all levels can't add or modify hyperlinks within the front end wiki editor. They can using the advanced editor or html, but within the basic editor, the buttons are visible, but non-responsive.
Clicking the "add link" and "update" buttons is non-responsive, or if you will, they are there, but not clickable.
Help is much appreciated. Thank you! :-)

I think I got this one sorted out,
When we are using the frontend wiki editor, the add/update link will only be active and working once you select some text to add hyperlink to.
There is a common logic behind it, the front end editor needs to know to what specific text you are trying to add a link to.
I hope this clears things out for you
help.png shows that i selected text and it became active
help1.png shows the link pop up which came once i clicked add link

No, sorry, that's not what I'm talking about. I get all that. It's the blue "Add Link" button that is shown in your last photo. The button image is there but it won't click.

@gabriel.grant,
Thank you for standing by while I was checking for a solution of this issue.
I checked by installing wiki on my test site and the Add link button seems to be working just fine and I had no problems at all.
So, now I think that any problem might be with any plugin conflict.
Could you please check and tell me :
1: What all SEO plugins you are using ?
2: Are you using any editor like Tiny MCE ?
3: Are you running on the latest WordPress version ?
Also, I would request you to follow the standard plugin troubleshooting procedure in which we
1: Disable all the plugins apart from the plugin in question (WIKI)
2: Check if the issue is still there ? If no,
3: Activate the other plugins one by one and see which plugin causes the issue to occur.
Please advise
Cheers

1. I'm using: WordPress SEO
2. no
3. We're running 3.3.1 until June
I need to wait until June to try out the troubleshooting procedure. Our site traffic is heavy right now and we can't afford down time, but it will be minimal next month.

Greetings Gabriel,
I appreciate your quick response on this one. I agree that if the site is high on traffic, we should wait till we are in the right maintenance window.
With your permission, may I mark this post as resolved for now and you may try and follow the troubleshooting procedure when the right time comes, and should you face any issues, just reopen the thread by selecting mark is not resolved, and post and we would be back on it in no time.
Waiting for your response !
Cheers
