Does anyone know where I can get, or who I can commission to create, a PayPal Plugin that charges people for signing up through WPMU, similar to the one used ot charge us to sign up here?

Google it. It's out there for a few bucks.

I remember this topic a couple of times on the mu forums but all I can find are "Rather silly since there are so many free hosts out there" responses which i still agree with.
Gotta admit that I think extra features like the seo tools package we were discussing previously or removing adverts from one's blog upgrade would be a better way to raise some cash.

I don't believe that the OP's intentions with it are the topic.

"Google it. It's out there for a few bucks."
Actually I have Googgled it and searched high and low and joined this Forum in the hope to get closer.
Intentions are to provide government-supported formal assessment and evaluation of structured blogging in relation to national qualifications based on APL.

If it is out there for a few bucks and that easy to find, perhaps you could name the product or the link. That would be truly helpful.
Thanks.

A quick google with 'wordpress paypal register plugin' gives you this:

Ah. I see what is happening here.
Firstly thanks. I appreciate that.
And my apologies for asking the wrong question.
I dismissed that link because it does not mention WPMU.
I assumed that a system charging subscriptions for access to a single Blog could not possibly be used to charge WPMU Registrants for a username and individual Blog.
You seem to be saying it can. I can of course ask the vendor to be sure.
I have been searching specifically for WPMU paypal plugins.

Yes, it will most likely need modified for WPMU.
However, it's a start.
