I have tried both "html coding" and "insert media" methods to add an image into "User Instructions" and "Confirmation User Instructions" on "Payments" setting page, but it modified the coding after saved change.
for example
input
<img src="<image location>"/>
outcome after saved
<img src="\"<image location>"" alt="\"\"" />
Anyone experienced this problem?
Looking for quick solution!
Thank you!

Update
By clicking "save change" without edit the coding, each click increase adding more error codes.
the code below after 5 clicks on "save change" without editing the code
<img src=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"<image location>\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" alt=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" />

Greetings Urban Directory Administration,
What are you using to edit the coding?
Which files are you trying to edit exactly?
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

Hello @Urban Directory Administration and @aecnu I had a similar problem a while ago and at the time If memory serves me I ended up uploading the photos to the media folder first and then added the image from the media library. That seemed to work better, not sure why.

Hello @Dean Kaus, Thanks for reply. I tried both adding image from the page or upload the media and add, seem nothing related to the problem.
Just now, I tried to insert a link to the payment - user instruction and having the same error result
Before save

I wonder if its a Google problem
Member (joined March 2012) Likes (0)
What do you mean by Google problem?
Member (joined February 2012) Likes (0)
@Urban Directory Administration
I saw the reference to Google.com in your post
A couple of questions I have are
1) What payment gateway are you using.
2) What size is the photo your trying to include in the instructions
3) Wanted to confirm your using Marketpress
4) What Theme are you using
5) What is the refence or link to google for?
I have a client coming in now and I check back here in a couple of hours. I can also set up a test site and see if I can duplicate the problem.
I know that when I eliminated google checkout I eliminated the majority of problems I had. Especially with chargebacks which cost me a lot of extra expense and stress.
I will follow up in a coupe of hours.

@Urban Directory Administration sorry it took so long to get back to you. Forgot to ask if this was a multisite installation.
Member (joined March 2012) Likes (0)
Thank you for following up. It is a single WP site.
Member (joined February 2012) Likes (0)
ok cool I'm setting up a single site now and will install the same theme.
Member (joined February 2012) Likes (0)
did you use a preset style or custom style for the theme, Also are you using marketpress alone or did you add the grid market or other plugins
Member (joined March 2012) Likes (0)
preset style
The problem occurred since I have Marketpress and some other normal plugin installed.

Hello @Urban Directory Administration There is definitely a coding issue within the MarketPress Manual Payment function. I think that we need to bring @Aaron and @aecnu and possibly @Timothy into this to see if they are even aware ofthis problem. I even tried 2 other themes to see if that could possible be the problem
I also entered the codes manually, made a copy, saved the settings and then re-pasted the correct code and saved again and it still changes it. So somewhere in the saving process is where the problem lies.
Thanks for bringing this issue to the forum so we can hopefully get a quick fix.
It appears that whenever you hit the save button it reverses several of the / marks which breaks the path.
I've personally never used the manual check out in any of my stores so I would have never ran into this issue.
I did try to add a photo under Store>settings>messages then in the order confirmation page area and save it and it works fine there.
So it appears to be a coding issue.
Wish I could have been more help. I'll try to look at the code tomorrow and see If I can find a fix if the Developer or any one else hasn't responded by then.
Also thank for being a member here!

Greetings Folks,
I think this may be a unfiltered html problem, or more accurately a filtered html problem.
Though it is a bit dated, you may want to try the Unfiltered MU plugin to see if it indeed stops what appears to be filtering.
I did mention that the plugin is a little dated, but with one of the authors being Donncha I would have no problem giving it a try myself.
Please advise if this in fact stops the filtering.
Cheers, Joe

Greetings Urban Directory Administration,
Sorry for the big delay in getting back to this issue and thank you for your last post which finally gave me the information necessary to figure out what is going on there and I do confirm this issue as a bug in which I am able to replicate on my production servers.
The bug can be described as with the manual payment gateway enabled and in the payments tabs within --> Products --> Store Settings --> Payments tab --> Section User Instructions whenever just HTML is used in this section there is not a problem until you try to add an image.
When trying to add an image internal or external the html is corrupted with slashes and other unwanted characters when trying to save.
The status of this issue is now changed to confirmed bug and the lead developer of Market press will receive the confirmed bug report.
I appreciate your patience.
Cheers, Joe

Hiya,
Just noting that we do have a bugfix release in the works to address several issues. Should be out (possibly a beta first) very soon.
Thanks, as Joe said, for your patience on this one.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for following up this topic, I have just tested the MP 2.6 with WP 3.4.1. To be honest, I gave up using that section already, but I have to deliver you a negative result that the problem still exists.
As I mentioned before,
\'"still the sensitive symbols for that particular section and more of this symbol \ added up after I clicked save.Kind Regards,
Member (joined March 2012) Likes (0)
I couldn't code the " symbol in my last reply, please refer to the test.PNG as I typed into that section.

Seriously, I would be appreciate if the time zone problem can be solved ASAP.
http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/coupon-available-date#post-229348
This topic absolutely NOT a big deal. But an incorrect display of date & time that show to my clients completely not a professional move. Correctly display date/time from the system should NEVER be an existing application to deal with.
Sincerely,

Greetings Urban Directory Administration,
Concerning this very ticket i can see that the lead developer of Market Press has indeed been flagged on this issue and finally returns from vacation to us on the 10th of July though I am sure he will need a little time to get up to speed with things, I know I would after such an extended vacation :-D
Thank you for your patience and we both hope to see him in here shortly thereafter with his invaluable insight addressing this issue.
The time issue we are and have been working separately.
Cheers, Joe
