Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest version. When I did so there was an a site error msg, but I did not create a snapshot of the message. Indeed the site and my dashboard were not available (http 500 error). After renaming the Infinite SEO plugin folder my site was available.
I have a copy of the previous 1.3.1 plugin folder for restore so when I have time I will try to recreate.

I recreated the problem and attached a screen image. I looked at the server logs but have not found any records to help locate the problem. which seems unlikely. I may need to recreate ane pinpoint the exact time to help me with the log.

Hiya Larry,
That's really bizarre. Though the plugin name has changed, you shouldn't change the plugin folder name at all. We've had several people upgrade with no issues at all.
Can you try just deleting the old version completely from your install and then uploading a fresh copy of the latest version? Apologies for the bother, I can't think of why this would be happening though.
To clarify, I changed the name of the plugin folder to recover from the outage. Without a dashboard, it was the only way I could think of to back out the update. Now I just delete the folder and replace it to test.
I deleted 1.3.1 and manually copied out 1.3.2, but this made no difference.
Then b4 the upgrade, I tried turning off all the Active Components like Sitemaps, etc. That made no difference.
I noticed that my Simple SIteMap is not working. If I can get it fixed I will try again.
So the tech at the hosting company told me that there are no Apache errors. The website "comes up", but no pages are displayed only the Internal server 500 error screen.
The latest plugin release (v1.3.4, just released) comes with a fix for the BuddyPress groups handling issue. Can you please upgrade and see if it helps?

Hi,
I deleted Simple Sitemap as it is not for BuddyPress. Added a Google Sitemap. No change, I still can't upgrade.
I may try to disable plugins to see if I can find a conflict. Wish I could get more detail on what is happening so I would know better where to look.

Larry

Hi,
I disabled all plugins except BP 1.5.1, installed a fresh copy of Infinite SEO 1.3.2 and the problem still occurs.

Not much help.

Hi,
So I tried installing Infinite SEO 1.3.2 on a different (test) site.
Holder theme
No Buddypress
Just the WPMU Upgrade plugin enabled.
Activated the Infinite SEO plugin w/o a problem.
Activated BP 1.5.1 and boom, Internal 500 server Error.

Larry

Hiya Larry,
Thanks for your feedback. We are currently looking into an issue between Infinite SEO and BuddyPress when Groups are disabled:
First: http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/fatal-error-after-instal-buddypress
Second: http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/fatal-error-when-infinite-seo-is-activated-in-multisite-installation
We're working on getting this nasty bugger ironed out as quick as possible. Until then, stick with the older version if you're using BuddyPress.

Hi,
The upgrade did not crash.
However, when I go to Infinite SEO in my dashboard I get that same error.
I will try it on another site soon.
