Sorry for the delay here. It appears this ticket got away from us buried in the ticket system.
Any chance you are using the newest version of the Directory plugin version 2.1.1.1?
It was just released recently though I do not have the exact date at this moment.
Please advise.

Hey there.
Are you trying to install the directory plugin through the theme interface?
Thats why you get no CSS because Directory is not a theme, its a plugin.
There is a theme under:
/directory/themes/
Then most the folder /default/ to your themes directory if you want to use that theme.
Use FTP for this.
