I am setting up a knowledge base on a subdomain and I want to have it so only supporters see the support ticket button. Is there a way to add users to another blog automatically that will still read if they have supporter status or not? Thanks

Hiya!
As Supporter status is a per-blog and nor per-user thing, it isn't possible to detect that from site to site, no.
You might consider combining the Membership plugin, which does give each user a membership status that you could check against across your network.
