Hi, my main site is up at http://www.DrummersDatabase.com
To keep things simple, right now there is only one BuddyPress group on there. However I am going to add another one in the next few months targeted at a niche market within the drum community and I'd like it to have it's own integrated Wordpress site as part of the same network. (ie all new blog posts are posted on the group activity stream, same users on the DrummersDatabase.com forum as on DrummersDatabase.com/subsite
Is there a way of doing this?

Hi Dave,
This might help you :)

Let me know if I missed the boat on this!

Hi Kimberly, thanks for the post. Unfortunately not quite I'm after, sorry I'm not very good at these explanations :p
Basically, I need only one installation of Buddypress sitewide meaning that users have one single account that is used across the entire network of sites. Nice and simple for them :)
But what I'm after here is some method of creating a new site on the multisite network, but instead of giving it it's own forums, I'd like to link it to an existing buddypress group on the main site.
You see eventually I'd like different 'types' of users.
-For instance, buddypress user type A would have author access and be able to post blogs on http://www.newsite.com (which is actually drummersdatabase.com/newsite but mapped)
-but every blog posted on newsite.com is shown in the activity stream for drummersdatabase.com/groups/newsite
-the same goes for any other custom post types (as well as blogs) that I may create on newsite.com such as events, articles etc.
I hope this makes more sense! :p

There are some filtering options here should you try to tackle via code.
but we don't have anything boxed up that will do the job, sorry :(
