Hey, I just upgraded to the new version because I needed single product shortcodes and 2 issues..
1.
[mp_product_price] displays nothing, basically this does not work at all.
[mp_product_meta] only displays add to cart, and qty box, no price?
[mp_product] does display everything correctly, so Im not sure what's the problem?
2.
I see there's a code to add the buy button, is there ANYWAY I can override the
"add to cart" button type setting on a product level? Basically I want to change it to
a buy now button that will go IMMEDIATELY to a checkout page for ONLY one
product on ONLY one page.
Thanks guys!
oh ya, I can PM a link to a temp page with the shortcode issues...

Greetings @norb7
Thank you for being a member of our community and for posting to the forum.
How did you upgrade? The best way to upgrade is via this method: http://premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-and-buddypress-plugins/installing-regular-plugins/
Also, can you make sure that there are no plugin conflicts by deactivating all other plugins and checking if the error persists.
If all of these doesn't work it would be worth checking your test site, so please send me the link via our Contact Form, for my attention.
Look forward to your feedback and getting this sorted for you.
All the best!

Hey Timothy,
Still unresolved. I tried what Gina suggested - no difference.
So I emailed support via the contact form, but no reply yet...
Thanks for checking up!

There is a related post which also refers to the mp_* shortcodes not working... Seems that it requires more attention so as to find if its a bug ?

Oh no.. it looks like you're right. The shortcode that DOES display a button, does NOT actually function.
I didn't even test it that far, I just assumed the "add to cart" button would work.. :(

:) If you need more info on that you may want to add on to the post I linked to.
I personally prefer doing a search in forums before I post any new issue, 50% of the times I get a solution in forum itself.
Cheers,
PC :)

That's true, and i Know its a new feature, but I didnt see anything related at the time. In fact the posted y ou pointed me to was posted a few days after my post. If you didnt point it out, i woudn't have seen it. They should have joint in on my post.

My bad I did not notice that.. In this case the above suggestion applies to the member who made that post... lol :D
BTW, the posts are generally not combined into one but if they are for the same issue, one is rather marked resolved and other one is worked upon.
I am sure the dev and staff would be coming onto it real soon and your issue would be heard of. I would have loved to provide a few inputs after testing it, but my website is under maintenance as of now and I am unable to test it on one of my sites.
Cheers

Via the other thread - I confirmed it's not working and Gina was going to look into it as well.
I guess it is an issue...

Sure, she might be doing some research on it and once she gets back, we should have some good piece of information

Hey there.
I can confirm all those issues there. The developer was made aware of these these issues.
This one is working for me, what issues did you have there?
Screen attached for Aaron.
Thanks.

Hey,
Yes, the [mp_product] shortcode works.
All optional attributes seem to work except "content"
IF content = product description.
Additionally a quick clarification to turn things off it says the option is false/0,
it seems only a "0" should be used, or does the whole "false/0" need to be used?
Thanks!
