Hey - I've installed the languages plugin. I also have buddypress installed. Trying to figure out how to get the brazilian portuguese to work with buddypress as well as wordpress. Do you support this?

Hey there.
There are a number of BuddyPress language packs here:
http://translate.wordpress.org/projects/buddypress/dev
Your lang packs should be put here:
/wp-content/languages/
Your site also needs the language selected:
Admin --> Settings --> General
Take care.

Timothy,
Thanks for the response. I installed the file in my language folder - but - I'm using just a single site installation - so that selector isn't showing up in the admin. I made the change in the config file so that my the main WP site is in portuguese - but I'm not seeing the changes in buddypress. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Derick

Hey again.
ah I didn't realise you had a single site.
So now your site is in no in Portuguese except for BuddyPress?
Sorry the lang should be in:
/buddypress/bp-languages/
and named:
buddypress-pt_BR.mo
Here are some tuts in pt_BR

Hope this helps.

I am a little confused by the string above. I am using Buddypress & Multi-Site with the language packs installed at /wp-content/languages/.
Should I move the language packs to /buddypress/bp-languages/ instead?
