I'd like to know if you plan implementing a limit on the number of automatic links per post/page in a future update?
I love how the plugin finds pages, but linking each appearance of a keyword on a page looks a little overdone. If it can only link (a) the first instance of a keyword per post/page and (b) possibly limit the total number of links per post/page (say only 3 or 4 automatic links per post) it would look more natural.
I am only afraid that too many keyword links in the blog will also count as a possible "over-optimisation" attempt.

Hey @Chris du Toit
This is already a feature, there is an option "Prevent Duplciate Links" in the Automatic Links settings that limits the same keyword just once.
See the screenshot attached. Hope this helps.

Okay, on reading this again, it seems what you are pointing out is the total number of Automatic Links per post, right?
Like, set a max number of any links per post / page. That makes sense.
Moving this to the feature request forum. Will file a request as well.

Thanks. For now I'm using SEO Smart Links which has those features to limit links, URL's and keywords per post (looks quite similar to Infinite SEO's automatic links).

Oh yes, SEO Smart links looks good. But we need to have this in Infinite SEO for sure.

Hello,
I agree, the maximum autolink replacement limits per post make sense. The latest plugin release (v1.4.4, just released) has this feature implemented.
