Hi James/Andrew/Sue (et al)
I really like how you guys created a "help" blog on Edublogs with how-to posts, faq, etc.
I'm trying to build my own FAQ for my WPMU users, and would really like to get a copy of those posts (Tools > Export). Since you made the "Edu knows" theme available, I was wondering if you'd consider doing an export of those posts for WPMUDev Premium users?
If you just export the .xml, it makes it really easy to import it to another blog. :)
Please, please, please? :)

Hiya,
We'll look into this. I'm not sure if it would be feasible though. We'll have to see.
Thanks,
Andrew

Having that unfiltered plugin in there on their install changes things if you're not using such on your own install.
wp.com used to CC theirs. I noticed a few months ago that they removed that statement.

Yeh, having considered this I don't think we're going to provide it basically because:
- The demand isn't that huge (so far it's only you :)
- There are a huge amount of custom Edublogs things within it that would need to be ironed out / edited etc.
- It'd need to be updated all the time (we're forever updating it)
- There's that duplicate content and google thing to worry about
Sorry to let ya down - I hope you can understand where we're coming from, feel free to quote from sections of it though on your own site (just send us the odd link as attribution :)
Cheers, James

Plus the royalties paid to Sue in chocolate would be murder. :)

Thanks @Nickd32 I'm glad you like how I've written up our Help and Support site (not quite finished yet) -- the great theme James supplied made the task easier.
@Dr Mike Royalties paid in chocolate? Now you have me hypothetically wondering what flavor of chocolate it would be and whether it would meet my high chocolate standards :)

Godiva.... but of course.

I actually like Palmer (a cheap US brand if you're not familiar with it) as it's not half bad for taste and you can buy a lot of it fairly cheaply. :)
