Hello,
Is there a way to setup Marketpress to allow customers to name your own price? It would almost be equivalent to WP-Ecommerce plugins donation feature where a customer can enter in any donation amount.

If you're looking for bidders to name a price -- I would use a regular form (with inputs). Gravity forms does a nice job of this. Then after your contest/auction is over, simply choose a random entry from the field.

Hiya!
There isn't such a mechanism I'm afraid. I'll move this to feature requests and see if there is any demand for it...
Cheers,

This could be useful for donations for both those working on websites asking for a little something or even charities.

+1 this could prove useful where a store owner wants bidders to name a price and then draw a random winner - kind of like "best offer" on ebay?

If you're looking for donations for charity -- MarketPress is not the way to do it. There's already a Paypal Donations plugin -- http://wpstorm.net/wordpress-plugins/paypal-donations/
