After a subscriber creates their account, the email is sent to them; however it doesn't appear to be automatically activating the account once clicked to go to log-in. As when I try to log in, it re-directs me to the WP login page with a message that says 'Sorry, this account is not active'. Am I going to have to 'manually' activate each account or is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
Thank you!

Have you turned off the default user registration? When using Membership, that needs to be deactivated, so users only sign up through the Membership plugin.

Hello bluepoint,
Welcome to the Community!
As Babbsela pointed out, you need to turn off all other sorts of registration when you are using the membership plugin.
Also, for this activation to work, go to Membership settings > General tab and tick "Enable incomplete accounts" and save it.
That should do the trick. Good luck!

I am having the same problem. I've followed the steps you've provided above and it's still not automatically activating. Here's the flow I get...
User goes to registration page - enters info via popup menu (working)
Confirm paid subscription - click link to 2CO cart (working)
Payment (working)
Redirect - Back to homepage not designated membership page
User - Logged but not activated or attached to the subscription

Hey Jeff,
In the Membership settings > General Options > "User Registration", are you assigning a level upon registration?
Set it to none and see how the whole thing works. See the screenshot attached.

It's currently set to non. I don't have a free membership, only a paid membership option and only one option as right now.
I do have the incomplete signup accounts checked as well.

I see, so you have only the 2 checkout payment gateway active, right? (The free subscriptions gateway should be inactive for sure).

I'm using 2Checkout. All the Notification links are correct but I was wondering should it be the same link in the actual product on 2CO. There is an "approval url" redirect link. If I pushed the link to the community there would it take it to that location?
Yes... all other options are disabled. There is not a problem moving from the subscription page, to 2CO and payment processing, that's working perfectly!
I'm trying to manage the landing page an return option. I've been working through disabling plugins to make sure there's no conflicts and still no joy.

If you'd like to pop into the dashboard, let me know and I'll set up a login for you.

Hey guys... I'm dying for some support here. After looking at every other option I've chosen to use WPMU Members. I've got a major launch tomorrow and here in the last efforts something has caused the a disconnect. We've rebuilt everything and still using 2Checkout as our only option we do not get a membership subscription button and the members are not assigned to the designated level.
Can I get some help please!

Greetings Jeff@myelements,
I am sorry to see a big delay in a response here.
Part of the delay was caused by the way the ticket system works. Each time you posted the ticket system seen it as a reply and reduced its priority and its aging therefore not showing up on the aging screen.
Back to your issue. Have you managed to get any resolve to the issues reported in your last post?
If not please send URL and log in details to me if you want me to check out your site issues aecnu (at) incsub.com and be sure to include a link to this ticket within:

Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

Hi!
Just checking in :)
I'm guessing that because we haven't heard back from you that you've got your issue worked out or that we have reached the end of our convo here. If you are still having problems or need any other answers on this particular topic please feel free to come back to this thread at anytime. Just be sure to mark it Not Resolved so we don't miss it!
This ticket is only being Resolved due to lack of activity. It is by no means an action to avoid, brush off or minimize your issue. We are ready and here if you want to re-open at any time and I apologize in advance for any lack of communication if this ticket is being closed in error.
Thanks for using the WPMU Community!
Best,
Kimberly
