Has anyone tried integrating facebook connect with membership? Basically I want to use connect to authenticate a free membership level via membership.

Have you tried one?
I'm fairly sure that you would be able to have those users set up as free accounts when they login that way... but Barry would be more assistance.
Unless you've already figured it out / fixed it in another thread?

At the moment, I don't believe there's a way to do this without some code editing, but we can consider it.
I'll ask Barry & Mohanjith if they have further ideas on this.

I also found an ajax plugin, so the page didn't refresh until the login was verified. that was nice, but the styling didn't work too well withmy theme

I tried the wp-fb-autoconnect but it didn''t work for me.
I also tried buddypress-facebook connect but it doesn't seem to work for everyone. Just me.
Was wondering if anyone had any more luck with Membership and Facebook connect plug ins?

Any progress on this? I need this feature so bad. I have also tried WP FB Auto connect to no avail.
