I'm using membership plugin with classifieds and Q&A. I set up 2 membership levels, one is for visitors which has limited access and the other for members who are able to view and do more. There is overlap of access rules for these two user groups.
Here's the problem; I've set up members to be able to see both Q&A and classifieds menu item but visitors can't and that works fine. But when a member goes to the Q&A or classifieds they are not able to see anything. What do I need to change so that members can see Q&A and classifieds.

Can you give some details of the levels you have set up, the rules that are in them (screenshots would be great) and the specific problems you are seeing (again screenshots would help enormously so we can see exactly what you are experiencing)?
I have two levels: one for visitors and one for members. Visitors are able to see all menu items except for Q&A and Classifieds. And for pages they are supposed to see everything except Classifieds since Q&A doesn't have a page, I just changed the permission for the menu bar.
For the member level all of the menu items that appear for the Visitor should also appear for the member plus the Q&A and Classifieds. What is happening is that the additional menu items are appearing but when clicked they both come up empty. Here are the screen shots to show what a member sees when she clicks on either Q&A or Classifieds. Both the Q&A and classifieds, as menu items, are checked for positive rule. And the Classifieds page is checked as a positive rule. As I said before there isn't a Q&A page so no permissions were assigned.
By the way, there are both classified items and Questions so these screens shouldn't be blank.
Just to double check in the membership levels, you have edited the menu items in either the do display ticking all the ones permitted, or in the do not include ticking all the ones that should not be there. In this case the Q&A.
It is important to set the menus as well as the visible pages/posts.
Sorry to ask again, but can you pop up some screenshots of your levels and the rules that are on them so we can have a glance. It does help us out a lot to be able to see what you have set up. A shot of the option page would be great as well.
Okay, here are the member screens. One listing the member-free level rules and one listing the visitor rules. I also included a screen shot of the access levels.
sorry it was taking me a little while to get the files uploaded. I didn't realize they're was a file size limit. Anyway, you should have them now. I edited my previous post and added them. And here's the options screen shot.

Hiya jannon,
We are hard at work on a complete overhaul of the Membership plugin. Your issue here may be one of user roles though. While Q&A works with default user roles the Classifieds plugin also creates it's own user roles.
My recommendation would be to grab a plugin like members (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/) and create a user role that has all the permissions needed by that level. And then use the user role addon of membership to apply that role to the user when they sign up for that subscription.

Thanks, any chance of seeing what's in those levels and the rules that are on them? And the option screen would be really useful as well.
