Hi,
The link 'Memberships' in the user menu options in the header goes to a wrong page that doesn't exist (http://myDomain/members/myUserName/aGroupName/). It should show 'My groups' (http://myDomain/members/myUserName/groups/my-groups/)

I couldn't seem to see the 'Memberships' header menu item you're referring to here, or a link that leads to a missing page. Could you maybe provide a screenshot of that area for reference?

'Memberships' item is shown when you are in a group page or a thread of its forum for example (it's not always visible). I show you in the screenshot as 'MembresÃa' (in Spanish).

That 'MembresÃa' is not actually part of the theme itself, nor part of BuddyPress from what I see. I'm guessing that's done through a different plugin you have active.
Could you look into that?

It is part of BuddyPress. This is the code in buddypress/bp-groups/bp-groups-loader.php, line 270:
It says 'position' => -1, //Do not show in BuddyBar', but it is shown in the user menu that it is part of the theme, I think.
Now I think the 'Memberships' item shouldn't be in the menu since it is useless and the link is wrong. What do you think?

Sure.
This is the url I use for testing: http://test.albertomuria.com/prototipos/. You can register, when you are in, go to Forum, select a topic and Memberships option will appear in the user menu.
