Hi,
I'm trying to use the membership plugin, and I'm wondering if there's a more detailed guide with regards to the plugin and all it's functions? I've gone through the quick user guide, and the more detailed getting started guide on the membership plugin page, but I'm still having trouble understanding the plugin, what everything does, and how to get everything to work properly.

I've already gone through that - as I said in my original post. Isn't there something else that talks more in depth about how to use everything in the membership plugin and what everything does???
@cepgray..I found it a little tough also, There are some more tutorials floating around here , here is one of them although I have not had time to mess around with this one since the first try I will be soon..
I understand where cepgray is coming from. Although one can "Just search for 'membership' " as you state, there isn't one place designated as a depository for all things Membership related. I've just spent the last 30 minutes (plus the same amount of time last night) trying to find the guide that scot74 linked to. I am far from a Web newbie but I am having a difficult time finding what I need.
When I go to http://wpmu.org/ in the navigation there is BuddyPress and MultiSite listed. What I personally would like to see is a Membership link right next to that. From there I would love to see a step by step guide to Membership usage, possibly broken down by beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Maybe all of this is already out there, but I have yet to find all of the pieces I need.
Thanks for your time, and for taking this as the constructive criticism that it's meant to be.
We are near completion on a huge overhaul to the membership plugin. We've done a complete rethink on the way options are presented, have added an 'easy setup' wizard and are adding tons of contextual help so that no matter where you are there is pertinent information.
Additionally, we're working to consolidate support threads with custom snippets, tutorials, etc into one location for each plugin here so that you can more easily get the answers you need. It's a work in progress, naturally, but we have high hopes for these things in 2012.
Your feedback helps us stay sharp so thanks for that.
Thanks for the reply and for the links. I had seen the second link, but not the first. Both are helpful.
I'm happy to hear about the upcoming upgrade to Membership and the Membership forums, that's great news. In your opinion, is the release close enough that it might make sense to wait for instead of mucking through an install of the current version? I have a lot of ideas that I want to implement, but of course I need to get the initial one up and running first. ;-)
Lastly, I wanted to say thanks to you and the other support staff. I'm new here but can tell that you guys are helpful and care about the products WPMU puts out. I can definitely see the value in my membership and plan on sticking around for awhile.

We have quite a few tutorials over at wpmu.org - just search for "membership" on that site and you'll get them.
