With a plugin as complex as Multi-DB, it would be a big help to get upgrade instructions for current users. Obviously everything doesn't need to be done but no where does it say what files and settings should change just to do the upgrade.

The upgrade instructions for multi-db are always "replace db.php" unless otherwise stated.
Because it is such a complex plugin, we aim to keep the upgrades as simple as we can, and replacing the plugins file is as simple as we could make it :)

Thanks for clarifying that Barry!
@troykd, thanks too for your feedback, I've just added that at the bottom of the instructions page:

Just let us know if you have any questions on upgrades as they come up but that's the general rule. :)
