I'm talking about this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/disable-grunion-admin-link/

Its supposed to remove the menu item generated by the grunion contact form plugin but a few wordpress versions ago it stopped working...

the code is just a few lines, maybe someone could have a quick look at it?

does anything look wrong here or is it another plugin interfering maybe?
