They are also not in the downlaod for the theme. Oddly enuff, I have these Network theme files from 02/2011! The 404's are gone so I will wait and see if they cause any problems. :)

I'm using the latest version of the theme, BP and WP. I did not notice this issue until today and I'm not sure what I did to have them pop up missing now. Certainly, they were not missing the last time I looked. Maybe because I started using network posts on my home page, but I have not tried to back off my changes to test.
Yes, the link I provided was to gtmetrix.com. I use gtmetrix to analyze my sites. As part of that analysis I get a list of 404 page not found errors for my site (using the network theme) which is still under development:

Well in pro sites as you know, you assign levels. My point was though that it should be visible, if not then it needs network activating or in the case of Pro Sites being given a level to be used on.
But it should be there though.
But that was not the problem here. This was 100% my mistake in that I was using older files in my child theme.
Glad you sorted that out. Yeah child themes are cool, but sometimes still need updating and can cause confusion.
I believe Joe is working with you on the bbPress issue?

Hey again. :-)
The link you provided was for the front of gtmetrix?
Perhaps I don't have something enabled on my install which you do?
Let me know the url for gtmetrix :-)
Take care.

Hi
Yes, the link I provided was to gtmetrix.com. I use gtmetrix to analyze my sites. As part of that analysis I get a list of 404 page not found errors for my site (using the network theme) which is still under development:
my-woodcraft.com
I must have done something to cause it, but I really don't know yet what that might have been.
Does that help clarify things?
Kind regards,
Larry

Hey again Larry.
Just had a look at the code on your site, seems you are using a child theme.
It would be worth updating the relavent parts of your child theme with the latest Network version.
Take care.

Almost sorted out... For some reason my Network child theme is in use, but not listed as a theme.
But the 404's are gone. :)

Hey Larry, just going through some of my older threads here.
I notice you mention the 404s are sorted now.
Child themes like parent themes need to be network activated to be used on sub sites. Was it network activated?
Take care.

Hi,
I have Pro Sites installed so many themes are not network activated.
But that was not the problem here. This was 100% my mistake in that I was using older files in my child theme.
However, I still don't have the bbPress 404 resolved, but that is a different issue and a different topic related to the Twenty Ten bbPress theme.
