Oh man, we used this as a basis to replace Browse Happy with a logo and My God for some reason the placement is below the grey footer and winds up looking like absolute crap.
Hello, good afternoon!
I have just downloaded yesterday the plugin remove-browse-happy.php
Today, I upload this one to the right folder and log out.
One our later, I back, try to reach me main blog and have that in my browser:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '/' in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/remove-browse-happy.php on line 38
This plugin is the last uploaded one.
I use Firefox (99%), but with IE, I have to face the same issue,
Via ftp, I rename the remove-browse-happy.php, but nothing change, I finaly delete the file, but nothing!
Any idea is welcome,
I thank you.

Hiya,
I think you may have another plugin causing the problem. I just looked at the remove browse happy plugin and I'm not seeing any bugs. Also, line 38 just consists of commented out dashes.

Last time I checked, the browse happy logo wasn't displayed anymore. Are you sure it's being displayed without the plugin and while you;re using IE?
nothing... just blank pages
Just to clarify since it appears you may be confused, Andrew is asking you to check the webserver's error logs. If you;re reporting back "nothing... just blank pages", I have a feeling that you;re looking at the outputted html within your web browser and not the logs in question.
You may want to check with your host if you need help located your webserver's error logs.

no... my all blog pages is blank... including admin section
Yes, we realize that and understand you;re having a problem with your site. We need you to check your webserver's logs. Those are not found within your wpmu site but with your hoster's administration panel. Again, those logs are seperate from your wpmu install.
Please get with your host and ask them for their help in locating your webserver's error logs.
Again though, I believe you don;t need this plugin any more because the developers removed the Browse Happy logo anyway from the admin side.

That's what I'm gonna do with it - replace BH with the client's logo.

How an admin footer logo plugin? 'replace browse happy' just sounds odd.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hmmm, maybe call it the: "Internet Explorer sucks, so we're linking to firefox instead of that darn browse happy crap" plugin? :D

Or a "Replace Matt's spam with something else" plugin?

It doesn't work on my WPMU 2.6.2 install. I've placed it inside mu-plugins folder.

Have to admit that we just removed the bit from the code.

The hook changed with either 2.6.1 or 2.6.2. I'll upload a new version later tonight.
Thanks,
Andrew

Resolved by also removing the plugin remove-wp-dashbord-widgets.php

It doesn't work on my WPMU 2.9.2 install. I've placed it inside mu-plugins folder and now just blank pages(index page and admin section)
Why??? Please help!

Hiya,
Are there any errors in your error log? Blank pages typically indicate errors.
Thanks,
Andrew
