Do you know of any other plugins or tools that will migrate further content (posts, pages, avatars) to BP from a Ning network of c800 users once accounts are in place? I tried Boone's plugins at http://teleogistic.net/code/wordpresswordpress-mu/import-from-ning/, but it's throwing errors on import - at least on latest version of WP and BP.

Ours is the only one I'm really aware of I'm afraid. I've not tried anything else along these lines either so I wouldn't be able to confidently recommend anything.

Hiya Marcus,
Avatars are unfortunately not included in the import. Instead, your users will need to head to the BuddyPress avatar upload to add a new one.
