Using BP Business Theme with WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.4.1 (no WPmu) and I have no registration form and no section in the Admin entitled "Site Admin"like it says I should have here: http://premium.wpmudev.org/the-buddypress-manual/letting-people-register/
http://www.my-site.com/wp-login.php?action=register just goes back to the home page.
The demo theme here doesn't show any registration for either.
In addition, I'm also trying to figure out how to add the blog to the main nav. Only the admin will be able to post in the blog and it will be used as News, but I can't figure out how to link to it or where it is even...
Hiya,
"Site Admin" has been replaced with "Super Admin" in 3.0 if you have multi-site enabled. We haven't updated all of the manual pages yet.
As for the signups, have you enabled them?
In addition, I'm also trying to figure out how to add the blog to the main nav.
One issue per thread please.
Thanks, Andrew
Thanks for responding. I don't have multi-site enabled (that I know of). Not using MU.
I can't figure out how to enable signups. Every thing I read tells me to go to Site Admin, which isn't there, nor is Super Admin.
I was told I could run BP with WP without using WPmu because I don't want to give blogs to my users.
Solved...
If not using MU, then it is under Settings>General
I missed it a dozen times. Guess I should get some more sleep. Sigh.
