After updating the plugin to 1.2.2.2 the homepage and portfolio pages is showing back the default posts and not the custom posts I made with CustomPress.
I have a multi site install and setup the main site with CustomPress setting:
Post Types - all boxes NOT ticked except the custom post box. (so default box is not ticked)
Before the update I had the same settings and my site was using my custom post as default setting. So Theme portfolio pages was showing custom posts. Now its just showing the Hello World! default post.
I also installed 2 plugins before I noticed the change: GD rating and Favorite Posts. Both deactivated to see if it was a conflict. Did not work. Same problem. Seems its a fault in CustomPress, but maybe I missed something. Anybody else having this problem?
Or better yet, a solution? :D

Greetings dutchmen,
It is not showing here what plugin you are referring to though I believe you are referring to Custom Press, but the version that comes included with the Directory plugin? Are you using the Directory plugin?
Please advise.

Hello Joe!
Uhm I just looked at my plugins list and I see no Directory plugin. The only directory I have is the Members Directory plugin.
Am I missing something?
Cheers,
Ronald

Ok, update:
Reinstalled multisite completely - from scratch - installed CustomPress (latest version)
Create custom post on subsite (main blog) - Added some custom fields - created new Post (under custom post) - Publish - I can view it perfectly - Settings - untick default boxes and ticked "my_custom_post_name" to be used. - Saved - Still not working!
Main website is still showing "Hello World!" WP default Post type when going to Blog page.
How can I make the main site (where I made the custom post type) use the custom post type as default post item?

Another update:
Problem lies at CustomPress 1.2.2.2 - When using CustomPress 1.2.1.2 its working fine. Note: at the settings page I see that 1.2.2.2 has more options to set as default. Maybe there is something going wrong?

Greetings dutchmen,
Thank you for the feedback and for your debugging efforts, it is greatly appreciated.
Though you had mentioned your issues referring to version 1.2.2.2, we are currently at version 1.2.2.4.
Any chance that the new version resolves the issue you were having?
On a side note, we have a Directory plugin I was referring to earlier which by your answer assured me this is not a plugin you are using.
Please advise to the results you have from version 1.2.2.4 if you indeed try it out.
Cheers, Joe
