I am using Membership Premium 3.0.2 with WordPress 3.3.1. When I try to sign up for a subscription using a PayPal Express Gateway in live site mode, I get the following error: Invalid Regular Period. You must specify valid values for the A3, P3, and T3 paramaters for a subscription. My "Test Class" subscription plan is as follows: Level 1, finite, 1 month, 1.00 USD, Level 2, finite, 1 month, 1.00 USD. The sign up is at http://www.nsama.com/index.php/registration/

I apologize for the double-post, but I need to figure this out for the client before tomorrow. I thought I checked the box to be notified of follow-up posts via e-mail, but that isn't working. Now that I know I need to keep checking back, it has been 10 hours with no response. Please help.

I am no longer getting the error because I changed gateways. I don't think PayPal Express Gateway is compatible with dripped content because of the finite levels in the subscription. I am now using PayPal Single Payments Gateway. That seems to work, though I have not completely tested whether the subscribers will gain access to the dripped content after renewing their subscription.

I am trying to set up a 12-month subscription for a 12-level online class with dripped content. I only show two levels in the subscription plan above because I am trying to test this plugin before I put in a bunch of work adding all the other levels. What I want is for the the subscriber to have access to the first part of an online video class for the first month. Then, if the user renews their membership, they will gain access to the 2nd part of the online video class. I am re-opening this topic because the Single Payments Gateway doesn't enable the users to automatically renew and go to the next access level. When I tested it, I clicked subscribe and payed via PayPal, but the subscription was not added to the subscriber's account.

I know that PayPal Express can handle recurring payments. The problem is that you cannot set up a subscription with recurring payments and dripped content with this plugin. I will just have to settle for setting up finite access levels, and the user will need to manually renew their subscription every month and re-enter their payment info.

Yeah, the way Membership works a new payment is taken as the member hits each new level. That doesn't work for your particular scenario here. We've done a ton of work to make Membership flexible but it doesn't yet cover your scenario (at least in a way I can think of) at the moment.

Hiya,
Since you're not actually creating a subscription here I'd recommend using the PayPal Solo gateway. Could you activate that and give it a shot?
Any particular reason you're not updating to the latest versions of WordPress and our plugin? That would be our first recommendation.

Paypal Express can handle recurring subscriptions.
To use that you must ensure that your subscription are:
For days; range for p3 is 1 to 90
For weeks; range for p3 is 1 to 52
For months; range for p3 is 1 to 24
For years; range for p3 is 1 to 5
These are defined by Paypal.
Let me know how that works for you.

Yeah, the way Membership works a new payment is taken as the member hits each new level. That doesn't work for your particular scenario here. We've done a ton of work to make Membership flexible but it doesn't yet cover your scenario (at least in a way I can think of) at the moment.
