Hi
I upgraded one of my sites, http://www.heapssausages.com, to Wordpress 3.3 recently along with all the plugins I am running and was immediately unable to drag & drop widgets in the dashboard.
I went through the process of disabling and then re-activating all the plugins one by one and discovered that it was Ultimate Facebook causing the problem.

I am having the exact same issue. I am running Genesis Framework v1.7.1 and WP 3.3 with MarketPress, and I am unable to drag my widgets for the primary blog. I disabled all plugins which fixed the issue, and I enabled them one-by-one. MarketPress appears to be the cause of the issue. I also switched themes, because I thought it was due to the Genesis Framework, but this did not fix it.
OK, I activated the Twenty Eleven Theme and deactivated any Genesis related plugin that I had working, there were only 2 in fact, the Feature Widget Amplified and Genesis Footers.
At that stage I was able to drag/drop widgets as normal. But, as soon as I activated Ultimate Facebook I lost that ability and was back to a frozen widget screen.
Reversing the process confirmed this. As soon as I deactivated UF, the widgets came available and stayed that way after I reactivated the Genesis Theme as long as UF is inactive.
@doug1989 - I don't mind either way, more the merrier!
A portion of my widgets fail to work when enabling MarketPress without any other plugins activated. The same is true whether using my Genesis theme or the default WP theme.

Hiya,
Just checking if it was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?
If so, no need to reply, that's great news.
If not, could you let us know by re-opening this topic, and we'll get onto it and helping you out asap!
Otherwise, happy days, glad you got it sorted :)
I am still having trouble as well. I haven't noticed any other threads either. Once I enable MarketPress with MulitiSite, I am only able to drag a portion of my widgets to the sidebar.

Ok,
@d3xta
Let me see if I can replicate the issue on a test install. Have you updated to the latest version of Genesis and UF plugins?
@Doug please open a new thread as your issue is possibly related, but really a different set of products.
Also, note that we are aware of some issues with our products and Genesis. One of the tricky things about Frameworks is that they customize the default WordPress processes (in a way that's helpful for theme development, etc) but also means compatibility with a wide range of products can suffer.
I'm not knocking the Genesis team at all, but as we've explored compatibility we have run into some walls that we haven't figured a way to get around. Our plugins have to work with the widest variety of install scenarios possible and it isn't feasible for us to customize all of our products to work in a Genesis context - at least not at this point.

Greetings :-)
Since this tickets issues are obviously related to Genesis compatibility (not related to Doug's issue) I am marking this ticket as resolved while developers ponder the viability of changes possibly necessary to mash with Genesis and in that decision considering the needs of the many out weighing the need of the few.

Hi James,
To narrow down the point of conflict, could you try switching to Twenty Eleven theme to see how the widgets work with that?
Thanks,
David

Should I open a new thread for my issue (above), or is it fine that I posted here, since I am having the same problem?
Thank you,
Doug

Should we start a new thread regarding this issue?

Hi Mason
No its still not fixed. I'm not aware of another thread dealing with this issue.
The version of Ultimate Facebook I am using is still 1.6.2.1
Thanks
