Hello everybody! I have 5 categories totally. Out of that, 2 categories under which posts will be added/amended but it should not be displayed in my home page's recent "articles from the blog" section. I want to hide it in the home page, however, my users should access the articles from those 2 categories under a page. I will take care of the page. All I want is, the recent articles section should not pull the recent articles from that 2 categories which are least important for my majority of users, yet it is needed for few users..
Please let me know how to change certain part of code..

Hiya!
As it's on the home page, I'm gonna assume you're using the Recent Posts widget in one of the widgetised areas.
You'll need to replaced that widget with one where you can exclude those categories.
The guidance on this forum post should get you there.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't mean about the Recent Posts Widget. In the home page, recent articles will be shown in the center screen, right? I would like to exclude 2 categories. As I said earlier, those 2 categories are not hot topics and I don't want to show users in the home page section.. The articles in those categories will be called from the other Pages. Pls guide me from here..
I believe, in order to exclude some categories, I have to amend few lines of code, like, cat=-4,-5 etc..

Not by default, no - the theme, once activated, provides 3 blank sidebars on the (logged in) home page;
- Home left
- Home center
- Home right
In your dashboard you'll see these sidebars in Appearance > Widgets. You can then add/remove widgets to those three sidebars, changing what appears on your home page.
Whatever you see on the home page now is decided in those sidebars so you need to check what's in there.

Thanks for your reply, Phil. I want to get more clarity on Articles from the Blogs section. My users' blogs are not featured in my main blog website! So there is no room for them to showcase their talents. Say, for instance, I am getting a 1000 unique visitors, at least 30% will likely to visit all the sub-blogs (user's blogs). In order to show the visitors, user's articles should be featured somehow. Could you please take about this particular thing?

Hiya,
So let me just clarify: you want to feature posts from the entire network on the home page?
I believe what you need is our recent global posts widget.
Let me know if that doesn't suit you.
Thanks!
Phil
