Hi - this issue may be a problem on my end, and if so, I will happily take responsibility for it. I'll be grateful if you guys would at least take a moment and let me know whether I should look into hiring a third party to resolve this issue. Thanks.

hi webwordsinc
seems like it wasn't theme issue...when checking on your source..in other page
it looks fine but when in the test-page2/ the body container side to left.
debugging them in IE and it seem the <doc type> in header.php causing the error.
check your header.php and make sure no spacing..or line spacing
the test-page2/ using the full-width template right..did you made any changes on the template?
try create another page also using the full-width template and see if it the same error
Again, it works well in FireFox but not so well in IE.
Forgive my apparent naivete', but I'm unclear as to what you're advising that I do, other than to test the template on an additional page (which I did above).
Thank you for your guidance on this. I've attached a ZIP file that contains the entire nelo theme as it exists on my server.
You are right - I *did* modify the header and footer so that I could show some custom links and so that I could remove the listing of pages.
But doing this seems to have screwed up the entire theme, as far as displaying full-width pages in IE is concerned. In fact, it appears that merely commenting out the call to wp_list_pages screws it up, even if nothing else is added.
How would you recommend that I modify this theme so that I don't have to show a list of pages in the header, and can control the specific links that appear in the header and footer?
I don't know if this question is within the reasonable scope of support here. If not, just let me know. Thanks!

Hiya webword,
I took a look at this and am seeing the same as you. I'll ask the theme designer on this one to stop in and see if he can provide some insight.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

good under chrome. What version of IE are you talking about ?
Oh what is the nice plugin you have in your sidebar ????

I'm seeing the problem in IE8. Haven't tested any other versions.
As for the plugin in the sidebar... are you referring to the "tabbed folder"? If so, that's a piece of code from clickbank.
Thanks!

Anybody there? ;-)
Since this question hasn't been answered yet, I'd like to add one more question to it: Is there any easy way to make post pages narrower?
Thanks!

I applied the full width template to this page:

Again, it works well in FireFox but not so well in IE.

Hiya webwordsinc,
You should be able to manually add links like you're looking for by copying the structure you see generated html in the menu nav by the default theme.
Also, if you're linking to wordpress pages there are functions to exclude certain pages or only include certain ones. Here's a couple links to see how to accomplish this:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_list_pages
http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_categories
If you can give us more specifics on what you want to do we can provide more detailed guidance.
Thanks!
