I installed the recent global posts widget. It works with one issue. Its displaying the following from a post with a left justified image with a caption:

Hiya Telsa,
Hmm, I'd like to take a look at that. Do you have a link? I'll also try to recreate that issue on my own setup and see what we can figure out :D
Thanks for your feedback!
*Edit* I don't believe our Global Post Widget displays images. It displays author avatars. I just want to make sure we're looking at the same thing. Thanks!

Hiya Telsa,
I can confirm that this is a bug specifically when an image with a caption is the first thing in a post (although it may have more to do with how WordPress handles image captions, but regardless).
I'll report this and we'll get a fix out as quickly as possible. Thanks for reporting it!
In the meantime, I'd recommend either removing the caption from the photo or placing the image below the first portion of text you have the widget set to show. (If you have the widget set to show 100 characters, you'd wan to have at least this many characters before a picture with caption).
The above is just a temporary work-around until the fix is released. Thanks again! :D

I'll just change the options to not display content for now.
