With the More Fields plugin for example you can add more WYSIWYG-fields (and other kinds of fields, which would also be totally awesome if CustomPress would get those too).
It could be used for multiple reasons: custom content for a widget, WYSIWYG-editor per column (for multi-column content) and who knows what else :)

Hiya,
Yeah, I see what you man, and definitely would be cool. I know we have a lot of features already planned for future release. The possibilities with what can be done here are very exciting!
Do you have any idea on a timeframe for updates on custom press? I keep reading in other threads about new features that will be in future releases, and I'm a little greedy :-)

Hiya jfelton,
I can't give ya an ETA. However, ALL plugins are currently being upgraded for WordPress 3.1's expected release next week. Where possible, there will be some etra goodies included. It IS on the agenda though. Hang tight!

Hiya nbostic,
Are you wanting to do this with CustomPress? Should be possible already. If you'd like to go through this, start up a new forum thread and we'll get ya some help.
Hello, I really need urgently to have a wysiwyg editor admin side for the custom fields. Is there a way to add this by hand coding, before a new release implementing it?
Thanks for all the help you can give.

I'll have to ask the lead developer on this one. I don't see this being an 'easy' modification though. You'll need to wait or perhaps post something up in the WPMU Jobs area: http://premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-jobs/

Hiya Jack,
This is still something we're looking at providing. We don't give ETAs, but hearing member's like yourself asking for it does give it a 'bump' on our priority list so thank you for your feedback :)

Hiya Hiranthi,
What do you have in mind here? We can definitely take a look. Do you mean other content areas like the 'description' area?
Thanks.

I'd like to add my vote for an address fieldset (Street 1&2, City, State, Zip, Country)
