Hi,
It looks like everyone can access the "Friends" admin menu, even subscribers!
This menu lets add and remove blog's friends and accept or deny new friends requests.
This ability should require a minimum role of Editor (or maybe even Administrator level). What do you think?
Could you correct this?
Thank you
Laurent
Hi Laurent,
The plugin doesn't provide role-based access to the feature and works similarly to BuddyPress, where by default, everyone can friend each other.
You can restrict access to the menu item itself using the Admin Menu Editor though, which provides role-based rules as well as numerous other features. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-menu-editor/
Of if you're using the Membership plugin, you can use the Menu rule to restrict access to those menus. http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership
Oh sorry I had a bad understanding of the plugin. I thought the friends were assigned to a blog. But they are assigned to a user (each user can have his own friends).
