Hi,
I am new to buddypress and have some questions:
1. I am using buddypress for a community website. I would like to have a group called "Board of Directors" and on the sidebar I would like to show the members of the board so people can click on a member and be taken to their profile. How do I do this?
2. I am creating the site as 'www.community.com/beta' - will there be a problem when the site is ready to go live?
3. I'm using Buddypress Album+ and want to know if there's a way to show "Recent Images"?

I don't know of a widget that does this specifically. You may have to create one.
Jeff Sayre created a "Featured Members" plugin that could probably be used directly or modified to suit your need.
NOTE: The download page says BP 1.02, so not sure if it is still compatible. You might try visiting the BuddyPress Forums - Jeff seems to be a very active participant over there.

Do you know what code I would use to display a group's members?
Also, is there a way to create 'test' members?

I don't know how to create a widget so that's not going to happen. I posted the question on the buddypress forums.
How about my other questions? Any ideas?

To create "test" members, as well as groups, blogs, etc., check out the Demo Data Creator plugin.
