I noticed that both these plugins are containing files with similar names ie: Recent Global Posts Feed
and it appears that they are sequential files of single plugin.

You downloaded the Recent Global AUTHOR Posts Feed.
I'm referring to the Recent Global POSTS Feed: http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/recent-global-posts-feed. I see it's a "2.2" in the project page, but I downloaded it anyway in case it's just the project page text that hasn't been updated. However, the file itself says it's version 2.2.
Any chance of uploading the right file on the project page this morning?

Hiya Mashee,
2.2 is the latest version of Recent Global Posts Feed. 2.3 was for the Author version only - where the original conflict was. Are you having an issue with it?
When I network activate the plugin I get this error message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Hi
To help track this down, can you give us the text of the fatal error?

Just updating this thread to say version 2.3 has been released. If anyone has further trouble, do let us know.
Thanks!

@masonjames
I just went and downloaded another copy and it's NO 2.3 -- it's still a 2.2.
Can you upload 2.3 so we can access it?
Thanks.

Greetings masheee :-)
I just downloaded http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/recent-global-author-posts-feed and checked it out and everything except the change log itself indicates that it is 2.3
What indication do you have that it is still 2.2?
Joe :-)

Greetings masheee :-)
ooops, sorry ..... thank you for showing me the error I made - still not sure how I did it.
You are correct and every indication is that it is still version 2.2 that is downloading.
I have shouted over to the developer to see about getting the 2.3 version uploaded that Mason James was referring to above asap

Hello- Any chance of this getting resolved soon? My understanding is that v2.3 just needs to be uploaded to this site so we can download it?

@mashee - you need to follow the installation instructions for this plugin (you shouldn't be seeing it in the plugins list in order to activate it) - http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/recent-global-posts-feed/installation/
