Greetings Ruth,
Thank you for bringing up this significant issue that we were unaware of coming into WordPress 3.4
I shall go ahead and see if I can get the lead developer of Sleek Studio in here with his invaluable insight to see if he has any advice for us as to what the issue may be.
After reviewing the WordPress 3.4 change log I would venture to guess that it is a jquery issue or something along that line.
I will try to get the lead developer in here asap.
Please give me a screen shot of your settings while logged in as site administrator go to --> Appearance --> Theme Options --> Slider --> the entire slider area at least what I have shown in my screen shot below.

I realized the issue I was having was that the post had to have the image set to Featured before it would appear. (Meaning, of course, that only one image per post can show up in a slider.)

I'm using manual. I just went in and put new urls for the photos I wanted on the front page and it's working now. (I tried that before and it didn't work last time, not sure why it worked this time.)

The slider is working absolutely flawlessly for me using WordPress 3.4
