hey guys,
today I was checking the comment settings in a user blog and they look like this: http://screencast.com/t/MTgwN2YwZWIt why would every avatar option show my own avatar?
I checked with firebug and this is the code for all of those images:

just upgraded from wpmu 2.9.2 to 3.0 and testing every little bit/theme/plugin :-)
you could probably tell that from my extremely increased post count. I know its almost weekend and I am in no rush but if I put off posting here I'll totally forget to do so by next Monday :-)

No worries. I'm kinda kicking myself for not noticing this before (as I have it up and running on a live server as well... ) Glad to have you around reporting it!

Hiya Ovidiu,
I don't have an update on this, though I have passed along the information to the development team. I'll give it some time this weekend personally and see what's going on - no promises though! :P

Hiya Ovidiu,
Can you check something for me? What happens when you're logged in on this install and go to Users>Your Avatar ?
I'm getting an error and redirected to the dashboard (of a different sub-site no less) and not seeing anything in the error logs about it. Dunno if it's related, but on a fresh 3.0.1 install I'm not seeing these issues.

Hiya Ovidiu,
I'd love to tell ya 'here's the update!' but we don't have one ready for release just yet. We're transitioning between developers on this plugin at the moment and the new dev is getting up to speed. I know that doesn't help you at the moment. :(
All we can do is ask for a bit longer to get everything running smoothly on this one again. Thanks for your continued patience on this. Please know, we haven't forgotten!
@masonjames: its just that I got a couple of seemingly forgotten threads over here.. its quite a mission to work and read through and bump the ones that are still relevant.
what I actually want is to show for users: uploaded user avatar, if not present gravatar if not present mystery man
for blogs: uploaded avatar, if not existing mayb user avatar of the admin?

Hiya Ovidiu,
Just tested this on one of my servers and I'm seeing it as well. I this an install you upgraded from WPMU 2.9.2?
That's the case with the install I'm looking at over here. I'll alert Aaron and have him take a look at this one. Thanks for reporting it! :D

@Ovidiu
are you using something in your functions.php or bp-custom.php to change default avatars?
I did have the same problem. Not any more
