So far I installed Group Calendar and Friends plugin but cannot find it anywhere in my Dashboard. From the instructions it seems some of these plugins won't work with BP-Social Theme? Or is there a BP Admin Bar I can install for added functionality?
Also I get fatal error after activating subscribe by email plugin

Group Calendar is a buddypress plugin. You have to have buddypress installed. You can use the BP social theme, it just won't show any of the BP specific functions on normal WP.
My aim was to use BP-Social Theme for this client.
Not sure I follow. I only want to make sure all his clients/admin can access all the plug in features with BP-Social.
Or I guess my other silly question is, can BuddyPress integrate with BP-Social? I thought it was already integrated with limited BuddyPress functionality. S'cuse my lack of understanding..

Hiya,
A couple of things:
1) Make sure you're following the installation instructions for each plugin carefully
2) If you're using BuddyPress then you shouldn't be using our Friends plugin
Thanks,
Andrew

Doesn;t Buddypress have an admin Bar built in?

I am using BP-Social Theme (not BuddyPress) but which I understand has BuddyPress integrated but I stand corrected.
Per instructions I think I followed them correctly including plugins installations. I tried a few times.
Also per instructions activate BP-Social Child's Theme and not the parent which I did.
Are you guys saying I still need to install BuddyPress even though I am using the BP-Social Theme?

If you need buddypress features (groups, friends, status, forums, etc.) then you have to install Buddypress.
