Hey sccrwoohoo.
Usually members make a feature request in these forums and we gauge the support for such a plugin by how may members add a +1 to the post and express thier interest in such a feature/update.
If its urgent then you could fund it with a developer. We do have a jobs board here:
I'm not sure on Aarons plans for payment gateways nor his availability for custom work at the moment. I know he is extremely busy working at incsub. I'll ping Aaron on this though to see if he is interested in a "sponsored development" I know this has been discussed often. :-)

Or you could use some kind of freelance website.

The only reason I am asking WPMU is because I know others would value with this integration.

Absolutely, I could not agree more! :-)
Implementation of features and requests is usually done by gauging the demand from members from the community, hopefully we will get some more +1s :-)
