just trying to figure out the proper settings. wp multisite 3.0.1, buddypress latest. i have some plugins network activtated that i want all new members have access to. what's the appropriate settings in premium plugins menu, or does it not matter?
so far in testing it doesn't seem to matter. if i network activate, then that takes precedence over any supporter premium plugin setting. is this fine? or should i set supporter premium settings for each of the network activated to "anyone"? thanks.
i also have "exclude plugins" installed. so far doesn't seem to conflict as long as i "include" plugins that i assign as supporter only or "anyone" it seems fine. just bringing it up in case anyone knows of known problems with these 2 plugins together.

thanks for the response. it seems to me the premium plugins settings only affects the "activation/deactivation" permissions of sub blog owners of plugins visible to them in their plugins menu (i.e. if you install supporter premium plugins AFTER a user already has activated a plugin you subsequently make premium, it still works. BUT the user cannot deactivate it.)
so if you use "exclude plugin" plugin and make most plugins invisible to sub blog owners, then the premium plugin settings don't matter for the invisible plugins (same reasoning for network activated plugins, since these don't show up in sub blog owners plugins menu, they can't activate/deactivate themselves).
for the ones you make visible, then use supporter premium to either make it "activatable" by anyone or supporters only.
re: network activated plugins, since you, the super admin, have network activated plugins x, y, and z, the sub blog user has no where to make a decision to activate/deactivate, thus no need for control by supporter premium plugin...
one thing to consider is the following. i haven't tried network activating a plugin AFTER installing premium plugins though. perhaps then i'd have to set the premium plugins permissions? maybe in my case all the network activated plugins kept their activation bc they were already activated prior to installing supporter premium plugins.
i could be TOTALLY wrong on all this. wouldn't be the first time. ha ha.
